Well...here I am again.

My toes are cold, my knee is clicking, the moon is full and I found myself out and at it again.  I ran for a mile, LOL if you call moving slightly faster than that walk that you do when you see someone you don't want to talk to so you speed up a bit to pretend you're important and you've got places to go...yeah...that's the pace of my run.  It gets my heart pumping so I guess that's good.  I walked for another two.  Don't judge me, 'cause if you do you know karma will get you, it always does me.

Love this quote and wanted to share.  I don't remember where I was but someone quoted a famous person, um, no, I don't remember who.  Fine...I'll look it up...just a minute.  Perfect - since one of my new loves is football.

Green bats and lil old men.....

Ah today was so easy to jump out of bed!  5 am was a welcome sight :)  My best friend, Devon and I have a green bat that we like to hide - it has shown up on her Christmas tree, on my lawn decorations, in the mail, in files at work and places like that.  Today - well - today was my favorite so far!  Devon has an ongoing issue with MPD and the parking ticket punk that works there.  Sooooo that little green bat burrowed into an envelope about the size of a parking ticket and showed up on her car - LOL.  After the bat landed on the windshield of her car a text was sent that sent her into a tizzy.  Such simple pleasures.  Honestly, I moved this morning on my workout - mostly because I knew she was going to jump from behind a tree and shove that bat..um somewhere....    HAHAHAHAH  it's good to have friends to play practical jokes on.

Oh, yeah, I've seen folks sneak out to the park and put trash bags into the trash cans in the early morning hours.  I've NEVER seen anyone sneak to the park and take an entire bag OUT of the trash can.  It was a little old man - I know because his pants were pulled up like a little old man's pants and he walked like my grandpa used to.  Between giggling fits about the bat I was envisioning him in his kitchen, his lil old wife scolding him for tossing something very important, like, say a jury summons and him pulling on his sweatshirt to trudge back to the park where he had so stealthily placed the trash last night to get this cursed document.  :)   I don't know the real story but it was enough to distract me to the point of putting in an extra lap.

Have a great day!

Back....again

Well, as you noticed I've been absent.  Part chicken, part sick and one HUGE part lazy.  You know I've asked my friends to hold me accountable, my co-workers, my family and um...it doesn't help.  The only person that can MAKE me get my ashes out there at 5am is me.  So, this morning I did it - got up at 5, put on my slightly tight, very um "stylish" running stuff and headed out the door.  It was foggy, dark and cold three of the things I would love to hide from in my nice warm bed but I faced them and even enjoyed the time.   The fog sucks up most of the sounds so it's just you and your thoughts or whatever you do when you're alone.

I used the time this morning to reflect on a great weekend with my family, plan my day ahead and to say a few prayers...prayer number 1 was that I make it home without the fog monster getting me  :)  Yeah, you know me, never too serious.  Anyway, it was good.  I'm really glad I did it and I hope I'll get back out there tomorrow!!

Ahhhhh perfect ending I love the Zac Brown Band Song "As She's Walkin' Away"!!  Words of wisdom!!  Have some faith, take a chance, you might fall but you might dance - more or less :)
